Website indicates whether the farmers market accepts EBT cards, WIC or Senior Farmers Market checks.

Farmers markets enable farmers to gather in empty parking areas or similar spaces and sell freshly picked produce directly to consumers.

 

To use an EBT card at a Farmers Markets, go to the Market information booth, tell the staff how much money you would like to spend, and they will swipe your EBT card for the amount you request.
Users will then be given tokens for the amount to buy fresh produce and other foods at the Market.

 

Some farmers markets participate in the EBT Matching program, which matches a certain amount of money spent on each visit to the market for fruit and vegetable purchases using an EBT card.
Amount varies by farmers market.
Participating markets are located in several counties throughout the state.
