Housing Services

If you’re homeless, we understand that it’s not easy to find a stable place to live.

As you begin your search for housing, you may need temporary emergency shelter.  We know that you may face many barriers in moving into stable housing: first locating the right apartment – and landlord – for your family; paying  first month’s rent and move-in costs, dealing with a poor credit and eviction history, meeting identification and background check requirements, as well as other challenges.

Where do you begin?

Wellspring Family Services can help homeless families, couples, and individuals living in King County find and maintain stable housing. We will help you explore options for temporary emergency shelter, which could include use of motel vouchers, as we assist you to find and move into stable housing as quickly as possible. Our experienced staff will work with you to understand your needs, develop a realistic plan to help you find the right housing for your family and overcome barriers to housing eligibility, and support you in advocating with landlords. We may be able to provide financial assistance for housing on a limited basis within your overall plan to find and keep housing.

Once you have a home, we can help you plan and take steps to stay in your new home.

We can help with:

  • Finding a safe place to stay on a temporary basis
  • Locating stable housing as quickly as possible
  • Addressing the barriers to housing
  • Access to support services including employment, parenting support, medical care, counseling, childcare, education, and training opportunities
