Provides legal advice and representation on immigration matters to individuals in immigration proceedings before the Immigration Courts and Board of Immigration Appeals, as well as before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Writes legal briefs and motions, questions witnesses in court, and performs other duties necessary to defend clients’ rights and due process. The goal is to help immigrant families avoid notaries and “immigration consultants” fraud.
