Who We Are
Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands (PPGNHI) is a nonprofit family planning agency that provides high-quality, affordable reproductive health care for women, men, and teens. Many of our patients have no other health care available to them.
Our Mission
The mission of PPGNHI is to support the lifelong sexual health of women and men, and to foster a community where every child is a wanted child.
- Services – High quality, affordable reproductive health services in settings that protect the dignity, privacy, and rights of each individual.
- Education & Prevention – Medically accurate, age appropriate, comprehensive sex education that furthers understanding of human sexuality and promotes healthy behavior.
- Advocacy – Actively protecting the fundamental right to self-determination, and the right to decide freely if and when to have a child.
PPGNHI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We rely heavily on support from donors to accomplish our mission. PPGNHI has 28 health centers in Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, and Western Washington.
