The Mission of Our Place is to promote and encourage RECOVERY and wellness through positive interactions and experiences within a peer-directed, community-based environment.  Our Place
•  serves individuals age 18 and older who have mental illnesses and/or substance abuse disorders
•  plays an important role in the community by stressing personal values of RECOVERY
•  is a great place for people to go for social interactions and relaxation
•  feels safe, enjoyable, and supportive to all who enter the building
•  promotes opportunities for personal empowerment, growth, recovery, and wellness on many levels
•  is directed and staffed by people who have experienced mental health issues
•  receives board-based community support
•  is not a crisis stabilization center or a shelter.
