The Division of Child Support establishes paternity at the request of fathers or mothers, issues initial child support orders, modifies existing child support orders, enforces existing child support orders, interfaces with the state agency that tracks the collection of child support orders, and answers clients’ questions about their cases. The office represents the State of Oregon and not the parent.
