Community Assistance

The Benevolence Ministry at KentCov is fully funded by donations from our congregation and operated by the support of volunteers.  Through carefully planned guidelines, we provide assistance for paying partial electric and water bills for approximately sixteen individuals per month. Individuals who are granted assistance from KentCov can return for additional electric and water bill assistance once every six months. We keep accurate records of all we serve in order to maintain fair and balanced guidelines. We also provide food assistance at the conclusion of every Benevolence Interview; having access to fill two grocery bags of food and toiletries from our food cupboard. We do not give cash or checks to any individual. All funds are directly paid to the electric or water billing company.  We service zip codes 98030, 98031, 98032, 98042, 98055, and 98058. If we are unable to provide assistance, we will offer phone numbers of local organizations who may be able to assist you.
