Provides confidential legal services to victims of sexual assault and rape in the areas of immigration, education, employment, housing, restraining orders, public benefits, privacy, and criminal justice advocacy. In addition, VRLC provides free legal services to support transgender survivors’ changes in gender marker legal documents (e.g., name, sex, birth certificate, driver license, social security, passports).
