Valley Medical Center RotoCare Clinic Renton 400 S. 43 Street Renton, WA, 98055 USA

RotaCare Clinic

In October 2003, Valley Medical Center, Renton Rotary, Renton Technical College and Renton Salvation Army launched the Renton RotaCare Clinic to treat—for free—families and individuals who lack health insurance. RotaCare is designed to diagnose and treat illnesses and minor injuries. It does not serve people with medical emergencies or chronic conditions. When appropriate basic labs and x-rays can be offered along with some medications at little or no cost. RotaCare volunteers can also help people qualify for medication and treatment through state programs.

RotaCare is one of only a handful of such programs in operation across the nation. Since its inception, more than 25 family practice and internal medicine clinicians have volunteered their time and service on Saturday mornings to provide care for more than 3,900 uninsured patients.

As a not-for-profit public hospital district, Valley Medical Center returns any revenues generated into services or programs of benefit to the members of our community.

Two Locations:

  • The Renton RotaCare Clinic is located at the Salvation Army Church and Community Center at 720 S. Tobin Avenue in Renton. It is open for walk-ins every Saturday from 9 to 11 AM.
  • Bellevue RotaCare Clinic is located at the Hopelink Building/Food Bank, 148th Avenue Northeast and Main Street in Bellevue. It is open for walk-ins on Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.
