Warm Line provides a friendly and understanding person for those dealing with mental illness in a non-crisis situation who just need someone to talk to. It also enables people with mental illness to talk to a peer (someone that is in recovery from his or her own mental illness). The Warm Line is not a crisis line. It is staffed by primary mental health consumers who have been trained as peer advocates, peer specialists or counselors.
