The Montana Telecommunications Access Program distributes special telephone equipment to Montanans who qualify. MTAP Equipment Specialists will deliver phones right to your home, set the equipment up, and show you how to use it at no cost.
To be eligible to receive equipment on loan, an applicant must: be Hearing, Mobility, or Speech Disabled be a resident of Montana be able to demonstrate his or her ability to understand the nature and use of the equipment for the purpose of sending or receiving messages through the telephone system. make less than 250 percent of the Federal Poverty level for the current year.
