The Helping Hands Ministry (HHM) exists to show practical love to the Snoqualmie Valley. Seeing a real need for support and emergency relief of all kinds, the HHM will provide assistance as the needs arise for those who find themselves in a situation where a helping hand can significantly impact their lives. Services include emergency food assistance, help with gas, rent, and utilities, as well as our weekend backpack program that provides meals to children who might go without, the HHM is approaching ministry with open eyes and open arms seeking to love those God has placed near us.
The HHM exists primarily online at helpsnovalley.org as a compassionate hub, connecting people with the resources offered in our valley. When needed, the HHM steps in when other organizations can’t. With very little overhead, we are able to use the majority of our resources to meet real needs. In addition to this work, the HHM puts together over 200 packs of food the go directly to children all over the valley. This program is always in need of volunteers to help go shopping during the week, pack the backpacks Thursday evenings, and deliver the packs to schools Friday morning.
As needs arise, the HHM hopes to be able to pool our resources and work alongside other organizations and churches to meet real needs quickly and effectively with the love of Christ. You can help and support the HHM by donating financially for support and compassion, providing items for the backpack program, or volunteering your time.
