Provides housing for low-income families, elderly, handicapped and disabled persons. Rent is based on applicant’s income.
The Helena Housing Authority (HHA) has 366 units of public housing. The HHA also has 345 Housing Choice Vouchers (formally Section 8) to distribute to the Lewis and Clark County area. Qualified applicants can use the voucher to help pay rental costs for privately owned property.
